The Bulldog Hotel Covid-19 Information

The Netherlands has entered a “Hard” Lockdown until Jan 19th 2021. All non essential businesses are closed including stores, museums, cinemas etc. Coffeeshops and restaurants are available for Takeaway only.
The Bulldog Hotel Lounge & Bar is now closed as per the regulations. We are unable to provide food and beverage service to our customers.
Travel is not recommended. Guests arriving in The Netherlands are advised to quarantine for 10 days upon arrival.
Visiting The Netherlands:
- Prior to your departure to The Netherlands, Please check the information at: TRAVELLING TO THE NETHERLANDS.
- The Bulldog Hotel operates according the measures of the RIVM (National institute for public health and the environment). www.rivm.nl/en
- The Netherlands observes the 1.5m (6ft) society. Please follow this directive throughout the country.
- The use of a face mask is required inside all public places including stores, transport, taxi’s and hotels.
- If you feel unwell or experience even minor symptoms of illness, DO NOT TRAVEL!
Staying at The Bulldog Hotel
During your stay, if you experience symptoms of any illness, even if minor, REMAIN IN YOUR ROOM and contact the front desk for assistance.

I. Prior to arrival:
- All Guests must complete the online check in process. A link to this is found in your booking confirmation. Please complete the details for each guest arriving.
- Prepayment by card of your booking is encouraged. You may contact us prior to arrival if you wish to prepay the booking and reduce your time at the front desk.
II. Arrivals/Check In:
- Use the Hand-Sanitizer upon entry to the hotel.
- Guests must wear a face mask upon entry and during their stay.
- Guests must maintain a 1.5 m distance from others at all times, including queues at the front desk.
- A number of questions are asked via a QR code scanned by your smartphone. On arrival, please scan the QR code and a Temperature check will be given to all guests.
- Prepayments are preferred. If you pay on arrival “contact free” payment is encouraged. If no other option permits, cash is accepted.
- All keys are disinfected prior to being issued to guests.
III. During your Stay:
- Use the one way traffic routes inside the hotel. Always observe the 1.5m Social Distance.
- Facemasks are required at all times unless seated in our lounge or in your hotel room.
- At all times , follow the instructions of our hosts, security or staff.
- The elevator is permitted only for trips up to the Rooms/Terrace. Only guests who share a room are permitted in the elevator together. For trips downstairs, please use the stairs while maintaining a 1.5m distance from others.
- Contact reception by phone, email or messaging in our property app.
- Wristbands are provided to all guests for security and must be worn for the duration of your stay.
- Restrictions on the number of guests permitted in the bar and terrace are in place as per the RIVM guidelines.
- Bar times are from 1000-2000 daily. The Bar and Lounge are permitted only for hotel guests.
- Food and Drinks are permitted on the roof terrace. Always observe the 1.5m Social Distance.
IV. Cleaning:
- Cleaning and Disinfecting is completed according to the measures of the RIVM (National institute for public health and the environment) www.rivm.nl/en.
- All public areas including the lobby, reception, elevator, door handles, toilets, tables are disinfected on a regular basis.
- To limit contact between guests and staff, rooms are cleaned on departure only. If you require Housekeeping services during your stay please contact the front desk.
- Disinfectant hand gel is available at the entrance and on strategic places on each floor. Please wash your hands frequently and always after coughing or sneezing.
- Staff are provided with gloves and masks as required.
V. Departure/Checkout
- Luggage storage is available free of charge. Use of the hand sanitizer is required before entering the luggage rooms.
- Please Return your key and passes to the reception.
- If you travel late in the day and wish to use the bar/lounge, please make a reservation with the front desk at check out as space is limited
IV. Right Of Refusal
- We reserve the right to refuse guests and traveling companions who may be exhibiting symptoms of illness.
- Upon arrival, guests who fail the questions and/or the temperature check will not be permitted inside the hotel, coffeeshops or lounge bar.
- We also reserve the right to refuse any travelling companions who share the same reservation or have been in close contact with the refused guest.
- Guests that do not adhere to the rules prescribed at the hotel, on our website or having been informed verbally, will be asked to leave the hotel. We do not provide refunds for guests asked to leave for failure to follow our house rules.
